Type “W3” Weatherhood
OCECO Type “W3” Weatherhoods permit the free breathing of storage tanks which contain non-volatile product or do not require internal pressure to inhibit evaporation losses. The “W3” was engineered to provide unusually high flow through the expanding areas between inlet and outlet, and a gradual curvature of the body that minimizes resistance to flow and turbulence. The body is of cast iron and provided with a coarse wire mesh screen over the outlet.
